Getting out the boat was a different matter entirely, its hard to climb onto a river bank when there isn't one.

Edit: Does any one have a spare bed I can borrow temporarily... until either apocalypse happens or the Thames returns to normal? I can't stay here.

Hi! Okay, news flash!

Club Haven want me!! 2 days a week. I so own you all. And soon, lots of money! They took a while getting back to me because from what I gather they wanted someone else, but the old DJ didn't rate them at all and so they ended up with me...

Sort of cautious because I realise that the people running the place didn't automatically choose me, but the old DJ (who is awesome btw, but sadly pregnant and looking for a more appropriate and less baby damaging job) liked me so that is something!!

First night tomorrow.

Bit excited! I've been trying to get in contact with some of clubs here to find a slot DJ-ing only to get a call from Club Haven earlier today to give me an 'audition' slot next week Thursday. Their current DJ is pregnant and they are looking to hire someone new, to do the alternative nights on Mondays, and student nights on Thursday!!

Anyway, what would be super super good is if I could get as many of you to come along this Thursday - and I know its not really your music - and dance very enthusiastically and cheer the songs I play, because yes. That would be good.

I'm away. From you all! From the UK!

I'm in the Netherlands actually, which is fun! I'm here with Howard because I had a letter from your goverment telling me to get out the country because my temporary work thingy I had was running out. And so Howard paid for me to come to Holland because he was coming here anyway. And so now I'm in Amsterdam. WhEE^^

But yes, on a more serious note I need to apply for a UK work Visa which sounds highly dull and intimadating, but I don't want to leave you all!

Ahemm, so I had better be off now! Howard's cousin Klara is taking me out to visit some of the more risque areas of Amsterdam apparently, whilst Howard deals with some sort of family catastrophe.
